Troubleshooting
Below you find the problems you may experience on Lenzcape's search page and how you can address them.
Not Found
Not found
The resource you have requested could not be found.
This is a bit of an annoyance, because when it occurs it is often during the first query (which can be confusing).
As far as we can see at this moment this is a timing problem with Google CSE.
And in our experience this problem disappears when you try a second time.
If this problem happens to you and your experience differs from ours, we appreciate it if you send us your experience.
Did not match any documents
Your search - query - did not match any documents
This can happen for the following reasons:
- The lenz does not exist. Maybe it is misspelled?
This should not happen when you search from the Lenzcape application since every lenz should exist in this case.
But it can happen when you search from either this page or directly from your browser.
- The lenz does exist, but the area that is searched does not contain any pages that match your query. Again verify whether it is spelled correctly.
- The page in not (yet) in the google database. If the lenz and query are spelled correctly and you know that a page matching your query does
exist, then Google probably hasn't indexed the page yet. In this case a query directly in Google also will not return this page.
